Behaviour & Training

All of our dog trainers are fully qualified and experienced

Behaviour Problems

I deal with thousands of different cases every year. Problems that owners experience with their dog varies from simple issues such as pulling on lead and dogs that do not return when called to more severe problems such as aggression and destructiveness.

All cases are dealt with on a 1-2-1 basis and I usually visit clients at home to see the dog in his own environment.
Once the dog has been assessed and the problem diagnosed we then explain and demonstrate what needs to be done on a day to day basis to modify the dog's behaviour.

Sessions are usually kept to a minimum of visits as we do not believe in visiting clients time and time again going over the same procedure – this is not cost effective and not necessary. I am always happy to discuss cases anytime after the session to ensure all is going to plan. Sessions start from as low as £25.00

I can help solve any type of behaviour problem your dog may have including

  • Any Type Of Aggression
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Pulling On Lead
  • Fears And Phobias
  • Not Coming Back When Called
  • Toilet Training
  • Over – Excitability
  • Eating Problems
  • Destructive Behaviour
  • Excessive Barking
  • Jumping Up

Behaviour consultations are available to people not only in the Hertfordshire area but also in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. Please contact me for prices.

Group Classes

Our classes are all held in outside locations. We do not do any training inside halls as although more comfortable in the winter it is not a realistic setting for dog behaviour. Much of what your dog will learn in class is what you will need in the field so why not teach him there!

We offer group classes for puppies and adult dogs.

Puppy Classes

This is a great opportunity to meet other puppy owners in your area and exchange experiences you have had.
We are happy to help with all those common early problems such as play biting and toilet training.

There are two main purposes to the puppy class, firstly socialisation, not only with other puppies but also all the sights, sounds and smells of the daunting outside world. Secondly early training, we will explain how to teach you new companion all you wish and also explain how handle him and respond to his behaviour to prevent problems occurring as he gets older.

Adult Classes

The adult class is for dogs of all ages who need a little extra help to be the ideal pet for the whole family. These classes are set around enforcing basic obedience and help to solve common behaviour problems from pulling on lead to shooting off to see everyone else in the park (apart from the owner!)

  • Our classes are ideal for socialising your dog with other dogs of all sizes.
  • In between classes we are always happy to help with any issues you may have, you are welcome to call us 7 days a week.
  • Every class is held in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We do not want anyone to come along feeling embarrassed about their dog's behaviour, everyone is there for the same reason.
